Bringing joy to your plate with our farm-fresh produce
At Blueberry Hill Bend, we're committed to sustainable and responsible farming practises. Blueberry Hill Bend is a private members association dedicated to sustainable land use and
community education. Our mission is to use the land in ways that align with natural
processes, avoiding chemicals and sprays to maintain a natural and untouched environment
conducive to growth.
We utilize our own water supply from bore well water for our projects, ensuring a sustainable
water source. Members can have the opportunity to learn how to build shelters or cabins
from materials sourced from the land, such as trees, clay, and hay, which serve both as
resources and educational tools.
Our association focuses on regenerative farming practices, working alongside animals on
the land to promote biodiversity and soil health. We use chicken and cow manure as natural
fertilizers, enriching the soil for growing fruits and vegetables. Members actively participate
in activities on the land, gaining valuable education and experience.
One of our key projects is running an organic health food co-operative, providing members
and the community with access to fresh, organic produce in a self-sufficient manner.
Additionally, we assist members and the community with gardening and maintenance on
neighbouring land and homes, fostering a spirit of community and giving back.
